Thank you for checking out my Electronic Press Kit. My name is Richard Nihil & I am an artist, a photographer, a poet, a musician, a traveler, & a Army Veteran. Although I spend the most time in Arizona, I don’t exactly live anywhere. The past few years, after losing my corporate job, music has helped me visit 47 states & 2 countries.
My catalogue, which includes over 1500 songs, features music from the 1920’s to the 2020’s. I can tailor my set to any crowd: Big Band, Country, Classic Rock, Delta Blues, Punk, Irish Traditional, Grunge, Hip Hop, Metal, Folk, New Wave, etc.
I have also shared the stage with many diverse acts including Afroman, Kottonmouth Kings, Taylor Dayne, Crash Test Dummies, .decker, Sam Riggs, Spafford, Wyves, Taylor Upsahl, & The Hellzapoppin' Circus Sideshow Revue.

Scene Mom is my friend Dani Cutler, formerly of KWSS radio in Phoenix, Arizona. She's been helping me get my marketing together for my next album, "Seven Commercials For My Soul". She just started a podcast you can find on Podbean or Spotify. She played "Memento Mori" the first track from the new record. Go listen to the podcast, episode 6, hear some other cool bands. Nerdvana makes another appearance on April 5th. Go check the website for details. Why should you go to an artists website? I've been on this stupid app for 10+ years. I have grown my account organically. I have tried every bit of social media advice and despite having over 2k followers, idiotgram puts my stuff in front of 50 of those accounts and 6 people like my photo. However, my Facebook cross post out performs IG 10 to 1. Why social media? Why are we promoting a huge corporation that sells our every byte of information? Enough is enough with this BS social media. Artists!!! Go get your website going with updated content. Fans!!! Please support businesses and artists directly from their website. If you don't change your internet habits, the algorithm will continue programming you with what it wants you to see. Not necessarily what you want to see.
